IGIST is a member of the winning team that was awarded a Professional and Technical Services IDIQ contract.

The BLM awarded three section 8(a) small businesses contracts to support the BLM over multiple years.  The winning teams will provide professional services for natural, environmental, and technical sciences to fulfill land use and management responsibilities for the BLM in the state of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, and Idaho. IGIST's role will be to provide technical support to these efforts for GIS and remote sensing. The contracts have a total program value of $20 million.

IGIST was awarded a GSA Schedule 70 Contract

The GSA Federal Supply Service awarded Federal Supply Schedule 70 to IGIS Technologies, Contract # GS-35-0338R.  The contract includes SIN132-50, which allows IGIST to provide a variety of GIS, GPS, and image processing training courses to the federal government.  It also includes SIN132-51, which allows IGIST to provide a variety of IT Professional Services addressing the geospatial needs of the federal government.  As IGIST wins more training and consulting work with the federal government, this contract greatly simplifies the process by which the federal government can contract work to IGIS Technologies.

January/2005

IGIST is providing multiple GIS training courses and GIS consulting on Camp Pendleton.

The Environmental Security department on Camp Pendleton has contracted IGIS Technologies to teach three ArcGIS courses on the marine base.  Additionally, IGIST is conducting a GIS needs assessment among existing and potential GIS users on the base.  Based on this work, IGIST will prepare a GIS utilization report and demonstration for a group of managers on the base.

January/2005

IGIST's 5 year GIS support services contract is available to any federal agency.

The IDIQ contract awarded to IGIST last May was modified by the BLM National Business Center, allowing any federal agency to hire IGIST using the contract.  Now any federal agency can write a task order to IGIST under the contract. There are no pass through costs charged by the BLM to use the contract, and the task orders do not have to be competed, thus allowing an agency to sole source work to IGIST.
